obscurity is always complaining about the lack of “proper” remixes on here, so I’ve made one that’s probably as close to a “proper” remix as I will ever get.

Started with the goal of trying to sound like Air (the French band) and wound up with this. That’s a real Fender Rhodes, no samples, just my fingers on the keys.

I like to think I just gussied up the original track a bit. As the legendary Drew Tetz said, “it is like JBB +2.”

Even a rusted metal frame s’got attitude.

All chips have been lovingly emulated.

This is a quasi-mashup of the Brad Sucks tune with part of Fake It Till You Make It by Banco De Gaia. I say quasi because I futzed with Brad a bit.

I finished this while staying home with a sore throat. Major accomplishments include: figuring out how to get the kick drum to duck the noise.
