Fight #0009: Jute Gyte - Driving (Get Red Mix) Sped this track up a little, and gave it a punk style beat that is actually very electro. Used the vocals more as samples, and only used a few parts of them. Took a couple risks here using slow melodies to counter the extremly rough riff. Enjoy!
Fight #0011: Brad Sucks - Bad Attraction (You’ve Got The Message Mix) Sped this thing up a great deal, gave it some killer bass, and tweaked the voices… enjoy
Fight #0013: Random - All This Time (Chill Out Mix) Didn’t use much of the vocals, but i did use the part “oooooo”. Took the violin and dropped it an octive, and then the rest is just shit i added. If you can get the option of listening to this song on a heavy bass system, you will hear all the deep bass hits i added with in the beat. All enjoy, more dj redshirt tracks here www.ampcast.com/dj_redshirt
Fight #0016: Puce - The Pawnbroker's Stepdaughter (Re(d)mix) Pretty low recording volume, so you’ll have to turn it up a little. I put some deep bass hits in and couldnt get it to stop clipping till i lowered the overall track. It’s hard to remix a near perfect song, so i just went with a completly electro, get out and dance vibe. don’t normally make dancy stuff, but this has an edge.
Fight #0018: obscurity feat. jb - Chainsaw (i Love It Mix) [winner] If anything this deserves the “most different from original” award. All vocals are from the chainsaw loops, even that humming thing at :52. So i sped the vocals up a tad, and all of the sudden i had this beautiful female voice (weird huh), so i centered my track around that. I made the vocals seem like they are saying “I, Love It”. i used one other sample at 2:04, and its the pick guitar thing, but i sliced and diced it so it is kind of different. The main hook is an old piano track i had written back in my youth and it fit…so there you have it.
