Hadn’t contributed to RemixFight! in a while and then I saw a familiar artist in the spotlight (Future Boy). Since, the bpm was just in my area a bit, I thought I give it a dose of my stuff. Didn’t have time to completely get the sound levels right, since I absolutely waited until the last minute to work on it. Enjoy!

This one happen to be my first attempt at freestyle drum n’ bass. Actually like this one very much. Though it could use a lot more tweaking on the EQ, but man, too lazy… worked too long on this one to enjoy it much anymore. Although, I am rather pleased with it.

This one was a real quicky. I only worked on it a few times, kind of threw it together then just wanted to get it done and over with. It’s a decent mix, not to fond of the ending I did though.

This was the quickest remix I had ever done.. I had only learned about this fight on the 27th.. The vocals were really hard to work with, so you might notice a bunch of time glitches.. Not bad for a two-day mix.

I really liked this one, so i tried to really capture a intimate club scene not your typical rave outlet. Sped up the bpm about 13bpm so a lot of little editing with the vox was in order. But i really liked the final product, good song to listen to when you’re in bed with a/your woman (if you know what i mean).

I was really satisfied with my other remix but wanted to take a crack at it again because i loved the vocals so much. Doubled the bpm and came out with this techno fusion with a little DnB. it’s a good mix, but i didn’t expend as much effort as I did the other remix.

Made the actual structure in about a day and a half, but touching it up took about a week. Also, if you reverse the entire track you get some interesting results…

I used a lot of the same plugins that I had used for my previous Brad Sucks remix (Making Me Nervous [The Ways of Reverb Mix]). So I kept the remix title with the same theme. I always enjoy remixing Brad’s material.
