Usually I’m the last to finish not the first, but this time, I really was the first one done.

I made this remix using the acoustic guitar, drum and vocal loops. I turned an amp simulator up to 11.

Listening to these loops I, for some ungodly reason, was reminded of a little track by a mr. james that came out awhile back, and decided to try and take a snippet or two from that to get my mix going. Quite quickly I found the track worked alongside brad’s loops almost perfectly with a slight overall speed adjustment. I ended up far afield of what I think one would recognize as a “mash-up”, and closer to a strange collaboration between a couple of people separated only by years of time and the awareness of aforementioned collaboration. Ain’t science neat?

Probably the straightest remix I’ve done since arriving here. Stayed close to the original and mostly just made everything a bit dirtier and noisier.

Hypno house anyone? The usual cut up DFF sound at a slower tempo, I’m still 50/50 as to whether it works or not.

Bradsucks - there is nothing I can do but highlight this talent. It’s an honor to re-fix BradSucks. I told him 5 years ago that he didn’t suck. But my opinion validates nothing. Here it is.

I used a lot of the same plugins that I had used for my previous Brad Sucks remix (Making Me Nervous [The Ways of Reverb Mix]). So I kept the remix title with the same theme. I always enjoy remixing Brad’s material.

Brad Sucks is one of my favorite remixees, so I couldn’t resist working on this fine cut from his new album. I used a bit of a lighter touch on this remix.

I remixed my remix. This was supposed to be a dub version, but it didn’t really turn out that way. Still all source, but twice as tweaked.

Made a mix of the original then remixed that.

This is a quasi-mashup of the Brad Sucks tune with part of Fake It Till You Make It by Banco De Gaia. I say quasi because I futzed with Brad a bit.
