The Taco Conspiracy - To be honest I wasn’t one hundred percent satisfied with the finished product, but it’s got neat moments anyway. Featuring a special guest appearance from Venom.
Sausage Bot - Vishnu is the ultimate one man band.
Artemis Strong - I titled this one “Keep Them Pure” after a small clip of dialogue featured in the mix.
DJ Snyder - I’m happy with this one, I was able to get a really great sound out of the drums. I vocoded the lyrics using the original bass recording as a carrier. The mix is a little chaotic for my liking, considering how beautiful each element of the original is on its own. So yeah, I think this turned out well. But honestly, I’d be content just EQ-ing and mixing the original. It’s a killer track, so big ups
to Puce and TCE.
UnDesirable - Since this was the last fight for 2005 I felt I had to do it.
DFF Sound System - Mix title inspirered by billy crystal’s warlock. That’s all i’m saying about this one.
D. Howse - Took me a day or two. Stuck to the orginal structure…
Rinkydink - i used the original loops to make this mix, only added one guitar loop in there……the original kicked ass…what could i do?????????
MC Jack in The Box - I gotta say I’ve had this song stuck in my head now for weeks, which is one of the things I hate about doing remixes. Not that it’s a bad song to have stuck in your head by any means. I really wanted to play Dave Grohl on this one so I ditched the original drums for my own.
iTh - The original loops are sharpened with some good synthesizerstuff and a bit heavier drums.
fourstones - My second entry in the Dec 05 remix fight. It was supposed to be a “showcase” for my new acoustic guitar but in the end I ended up letting loose on the electric. It’s a bit of rock plodder so sway along with me now.
